What's Happening Attention Brownsboro Young Farmers and all interested parties: The County Broiler Entries are due for the Henderson County Livestock Show on November 12. On November 17 at 9AM, the Area VIII Leadership Development Events will be taking place in Hillsboro. On November 27, Brownsboro will be hosting the Hog Validations for Major Shows from 4-7 PM. The Corsicana Sunset Lions Navarro College LEO Club will be hosting the Jim Jones Memorial Deer Hunters' BBQ. The event will be taking place on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the Corsicana High School Commons, which is located at 3701 West HWY 22. There will be a live auction and BBQ benefiting Navarro County. In addition, they will be raffling off a Howa Model 1500 Deer Rifle .270 cal. Win with Var. 3-9x42 scope. The drawing will take place at 8 P.M. and you need not be present to win. Meal tickets, which include one raffle ticket, are $5.00 and additional raffle tickets are $1.00. The Quilters Guild of East Texas will host their monthly meeting Thursday, November 8 at 9:30 AM for the social and 10 AM for the meeting, at Pollard United Methodist Church, 3030 New Copeland Rd, Tyler. Additional donations are and will be greatly appreciated!!!! Bluegrass Gospel Weekend, Saturday, November 10 at the Texas Gospel Music Hall, located at 6513 HWY 19 S, Athens. The concert starts at 6 P.M., but the doors open at 5. Guest entertainers will be The Hogwallow Boys & The Hubbards. All vet erans in this area are invited to attend. A fund has been established for Chance Moody at the First State Bank of Brownsboro.
