Eighth grade Bears roll over Panthers

Both 8th grade teams defeated the Bullard Panthers last week in Brownsboro.

The "A" team won 8-6 while the "B" team won 14-6.

Scoring for the "A" team was Keuntis Thompson. He also converted the two-point conversion attempt on a pass from Cody Strickland. Thompson rushed for more than 115 yards. The entire defense played well in the win.

In the "B" game Jon Nellist and Lance Booth scored the Bear touchdowns while Cole Cooper added the two points. The defense has played well all year leading to the Bears record of 5-2-1.

The 7th grade "A" team fell 30-8 while the "B" team won 20-6.

Patrick McCarthy led the "A" team in rushing with 80 yards and also converted the two points. Jontae Harmon scored the Bears touchdown on a 12 yard run. Miles Spencer led the defense.

Seth Middleton, Wyatt Bynum and Dion Rameriez all scored for the "B" team in the win. Trevor Davis and Carlos Tristian played well on defense.
