"Crossing the Bridge of Forgiveness"

I have discovered the most difficult bridge to cross,
To the bridge of forgiving ourselves.
We can never experience the freedom and true beauty
That is ours to cherish, until, we are as gentle
With ourselves as we are with others.
Love is truly divine, and true love is always kind.
Once we are truly kind to ourselves,
we then will be able to experience the wonder
and mystery of God's precious love.
God loves you! Forgive yourself,
God has forgiven you.
A New Dawn awaits you.
A New Beginning is in store for you.
Forgiveness sets us Free, to be all we can be.

"Out of the depths I cry to You, O Lord; O Lord hear my voice.

Let Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.

If You, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?

But with You there is forgiveness; therefore You are feared."

Psalm 130:1-4

Precious Lord; my heart's desire is to be forgiving not only to others,

but to myself as well. For I now realize, I can forgive others,

And still be in bondage if I have failed to forgive myself in a pure and right way,

I must first learn the precious gift of forgiving myself, Lord.

Only then will I be able to comprehend the true gift of forgiveness.

Lord, please open my heart to receive God's unconditional love.
This is my prayer and my heart's desire.
In your precious name Lord, I pray,
God's will be done.
Amen

SEND A FRIEND

While walking down a lonely road,
My heart is burdened with a heavy load.
I do not know when this will end.
I'm praying for God to send a friend
To care for me and ease my pain,
To tell me that I will live again.
The road is long, rough and wide.
Please send me Jesus to be my guide;
To be with me through lonely nights
And tell me of his heavenly sights,
To lead me through the narrow path
And stay with me till night is past,
To cheer me on from day to day
And carry me home with him to stay.
