After a string of robberies and evading arrest, Bobby Dykes of Chandler was sentenced to six life sentences. The 47-year-old man was on parole in 1993 when he burglarized the home of a Smith County woman.

Dykes pled guilty in court, and it was also discovered he had robbed Henderson County homes as well. Of the six life sentences, three will be stacked and three will be simultaneous. Dykes was also sentenced to 20 years for evading arrest.

Throughout his life Dykes has been convicted of public intoxication, marijuana possession, disorderly conduct and more than a few burglaries. One burglary victim, Shielda Divine of Smith County, was burglarized twice by Dykes, once in 1993 and again in 2006.
