The Chandler & Brownsboro Bears flag team are the 2007 Tri-County Super Bowl Champions after defeating the Hallsville Bobcats 18-0 on Saturday.

Coached by Darin Watson the Bears' defense did not allow any points to be scored on them in the final 11 quarters of the season.

The flag team consists of kids ages 5-6 and in kindergarten and first grades. The team also has cheerleaders.

During the regular season the Bears played in the south division with teams from Troup, Whitehouse and Jacksonville. Hallsville was a member of the Tri-County north division.

The team, as well as other Chandler and Brownsboro area football teams will have an awards banquet this Saturday night at Faith Baptist in Brownsboro.

Members of the 2007 Super Bowl champs are: Jayron Anglin, Charlie Chitwood, Jayce Day, Hayden Estridge, Elijah Dunklin, Dakota Harmon, Leland Hayter, Zackary Hutcherson, Mikel Kirby, Dustin Kuykendall and Michael McCallie.

More players include: Nathen Mueller, Scott Passons, Seth Rozell, Trenton Sebesta, Christopher Simons, Raiden Simmons, Xain Simons, Donald Smith, Michael Smith, Kobyn Vanderburg, Weston Watson, Saul Williams, Gavyn Young and Phillip Zelanick.
