Bears finish season 2-7

Finishing the season with a record of 2-7 the Freshman Bears football team lost to Athens last Thursday by the score of 29-0.

Brownsboro drove deep inside Athens territory twice in the first half only to come up short handed.

Brandon Crawford blocked a Hornet extra point attempt during the second half of play for the Bears. Charfus Mayfield recovered a Hornet fumble.

During district play the Bears were held scoreless.

Brownsboro wins came against Eustace and Rains.
