Leagueville Baptist
by Church Staff

This past week LBC held Revival services. The theme has been "How is Your Heart?" Bro. Raleigh Campbell raised many questions about the condition of our hearts. He preached to us about guilt, anger, greed and jealousy. Bro. Raleigh preached a powerful message each service, and each time we were blessed by God's presence. On Sunday, two young people were added to the church by baptism. We were glad to add Kaylee VanVoast and Jackson Dunklin to our church body. I know that these decisions for Christ were the answer to the prayers of many people.

We enjoyed a good time of food and fellowship on both Saturday night at the chili supper and Sunday at our Thanksgiving lunch. The food, as always, was wonderful. We were pleased to have many visitors and hope that we made you feel welcome. We would like to invite you to visit us again!

This time of year is always a busy one around LBC. Our choir members have begun practicing for the Christmas Cantata each Sunday at 4:30 p.m. There is still time to join if you haven't already. Our Cantata will be December 16th at the eleven o'clock service. Each year the choir does an outstanding job of presenting the story of Christ's birth through song.

There are many activities that LBC has to offer you each Sunday. First, each Sunday morning at 9:45 the children ages 3- 3rd grade meet in the gym to sing songs of praise before Sunday school. I know that Ms. Katie would love to see you there. After Sunday school, we have Children's Church, led by Paul and Holly Dunklin. Paul and Holly always have interesting lessons and activities planned for the children. On Sunday evenings, we have our Prayer Meeting at 5:30 and our regular service at 6:00.

In addition, we have services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. For the children ages 3-3rd grade, we offer "Basement Bunch," led by Paul and Holly Dunklin. Those grades 4th-6th meet with Ms. Katie upstairs. Our Youth Group is led by Justin and Beth Bragdon and they meet in the youth room for songs and worship. The adults meet in the Sanctuary with Bro. Tom for Bible study and prayer. Wed nights are always fun at LBC.
