Missionary Speaker: Stan and Nancy Dickard, who are missionaries to South Africa will speak Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30. It is a special joy to welcome our SBC missionaries who serve as a part of the largest mission force in the world, and who do not have to raise their own support because of the generous collective gifts of Southern Baptist Churches. During December, an annual offering is collected in SBC churches throughout the country, that goes to fund this great work. And it allows the missionaries to focus on ministry and not to be deterred by fundraising. Don't forget to give to the annual Christmas offering for International Missions, which is called the Lottie Moon Offerby ing.

Newest Members: We'd like to extend a BIG welcome to our newest members, Chris Richardson, Lenora Campbell, Louis and Alice Moe, and their son Tim. And as always we'd like to thank our guests; we appreciate you so much and are grateful that God sent you our way!

Guest Pianist: It was a great pleasure to have Alan Cox Sunday morning, filling in for Carol Nichelson. Alan is a special friend of WLBC, and he's previously served at Green Acres Baptist Church, works with the state convention and is known throughout the state and is in demand at conferences and churches throughout the year.

Christmas Musicals: The Children's Choir will present "Cookin' Up Christmas," on December 9, 6:30 p.m. The Adult Celebration Choir will present "Bringing Christmas Home," Sunday, December 16 in the morning service.

Christmas Fellowships: The Genesis Sunday School Class will meet December 1st at Southern Magnolia at 5:30 p.m. On December 7, the Girls in Action will hold their Christmas party in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 p.m. On December 13, the Evangels Sunday School Class will meet at 2:00 p.m. On December 14, the Oasis Sunday School Class will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. On December 18th, the Singin' Saintz will have a Christmas luncheon at 11:00 a.m. And on the Children's Christmas party will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m.

Baby Shower: A shower will be held for Reagan Bennett, Sunday, December 9 at 12:30 p.m.

Mission West Lake Food Bank will be open Wednesday, December 5, 2007, 10:00 a.m. `til 2 p.m.

Sunday's Message: Pastor Eric's message, from the sevenpart teaching series entitled "Back to School Again," was "Home Economics - What Does God Expect from a Family?"
