Chandler Lions Den

The Chandler Lions Den wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has assisted us in our service projects throughout this year. We hope that your holidays will be filled with family visits, lots of good food, and love for each other. If you know individuals who will be alone for the holidays, find time to include them in your festivities. Remember those in nursing homes, assisted living centers, and the disabled who are unable to do their shopping, and offer your services to help.

Because the Lions will be busy with many service projects during December, our regular meetings will be suspended for the month. We will celebrate our successes with a Christmas party at the Potpourri House in Tyler on Thursday, December 20, at 5:30 pm., when we will be hosting Texas District Governor Lion John Hopkins who will officiate at an installation of new members.

Anyone interested in learning more about our activities and plans for the future is welcome to attend this special event. Reservations at $10 per person for the meal may be made by calling 903- 849-6056 no later than December 15.

Our regular meetings will resume in January, with the first one scheduled for January 8, 6:30 pm., at the Chandler Community Center. We welcome you to explore the exciting opportunities of becoming a Lion!
