Sharon Graves Cottle
Services for Sharon Graves Cottle, 63, Brownsboro, were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Weems and Rev. Ron Moore officiating.

Burial followed in Rock Hill Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.

Mrs. Cottle passed away December 2, 2007 in Tyler.

She was born June 15, 1944 in Fort Woth to Marvin Jarmon and Mary Imogene Rueter Graves and had been a resident of Brownsboro since 1972. Sharon had devoted nearly 40 years of her life to child development, first as teacher and director at Little Bears in Chandler for 30 years, then retiring as director at Kabbage Patch Day School in Brownsboro after nine years.

She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father; husband, Larry Cottle in 1974; infant brother, Marvin Allen Graves; and grandson, Dallas Wayne Holt.

Survivors include daughters, Stacie Coffey and husband Roy Dee, Kim Cottle, Trisha Holt and husband Terry, all of Brownsboro; mother, Imogene Graves, Brownsboro; grandchildren, Austin Holt, Shelbi Holt, Hannah Coffey and Logan Coffey.

Pallbearers included Bobby Pillow, Mark Bynum, Danny Hardin, Ben Bearden, Brian Daughtry, Ricky Wyatt, Tom Williams, Steve Sanders, Ronald Epperson, and Jim Palady.

Honorary pallbearers were Clyde Crow, James Hughes, Danny Craig, Donald Robertson, Jim Hughes, Milton Adair, Danny Bristow, Frank Hood, and Scott Groothuis.
