Ferrell Gene Phaup

Graveside services for Ferrell Gene Phaup, 83, Chandler, were held at noon Saturday at Anneville Cemetery near Decatur with the family officiating. Arrangements were with Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Phaup died November 28, 2007, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born July 15, 1924, in Fort Worth to the late Ernest and Jewel Phaup. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and lived in the Chandler area since 1974. He was a self-employed marina operator and a Shriner and member of Chandler Church of Christ, and Corsicana Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie Phaup and Bobby Phaup.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Arnett Phaup, Chandler; son, Don Phaup, Chandler; stepson, Larry Moore, Corsicana; daughter, Cindy Myers, Georgetown; stepdaughter, Gerry Fowler, Rosanky; sisters, Pat Weatherly, Fort Worth, Margaret Aber, Tyler, and Geraldine Stevenson, Tool; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
