Kappa Pi meets in Christmas celebration
A "silent auction" added lots of excitement and friendly competition as well as raising money for chapter activities. Lynda McQuaid did a reading from "The Littlest Stork" by Charles Tazewell, the author of "The Littlest Angel." She had enlarged poster-sized illustrations for the humorous and delightful story for adults. Benita Carver led group singing of Christmas music and carols. Nancy Rozell spoke about how much the chapter and friendships with the members meant to her. For the December Projects, members brought supplies for the Christian Women's Job Corp in Tyler and The Mission House in Bullard. Kappa Pi members belong to The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a professional society for women educators. |
