Freshman Bears

Brownsboro's freshman game was canceled last Tuesday leaving the Bears only action last week to the Athens Tournament.

Opening the tournament against Malakoff the Bears lost by the score of 39-31. Collin Mason led the Bears in scoring with 14 points.

In round two of the tournament the Bears used a 16-3 first period performace to defeat Palestine 46-40. Mason led the Bears in scoring with 15 points. JT Cox nailed a three pointer for the Bears in the win.

Playing in their final game of the tournament the Bears lost to Kemp 32-26. Ryan Owens sank the Bears only 3- pointer in the game as part of his team high 10 points.

The Bears are scheduled to play Edgewood Tuesday at home in Brownsboro at 4:30.
