Set to host Athens for a chance at fifth place in the Great East Texas Shootout the Bearettes record stood at 10- 4 on the season.
As of Monday the girls record still stands at 10-4 as their final game of the annual tournament was canceled.
Brownsboro will face Athens twice in District 14-3A play in 2008.

Griffin is estimated to earn his 800th win as the Bearettes open District 14-3A play in January.
Van, Chapel Hill and Canton are the first three teams scheduled for district action. Van and Canton will be home games for the Bearettes.
