Thelma Terrell

Services for Thelma Skipworth Terrell, 89, Edom, were held Friday at Union Hill Baptist Church, Brownsboro, with the Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating.

Burial was in Chandler Memorial Cemetery under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mrs. Terrell died Dec. 11, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born April 28, 1918, in Jackson, Ala., to the late John Elvin and Della Mary McDonald Skipworth. She was a homemaker and member of Union Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Frank Terrell, in 1989.

Survivors include sons, Robert Lee and wife Linda McCurdy, Edom, Tandy Wayne and wife Sharon McCurdy, Van Alstyne, and William Calvin Terrell, Gun Barrel City; three grandchildren; brothers, sisters and other relatives.

"Wheels of Mercy M/N" served as pallbearers.
