We at Martin Springs Baptist hope you had a wonderful and spirit filled CHRISTmas! Now to get ready for the New Year! What are your plans for 2008? Remember to pray!

Bro. David Tidmore's sermon Sunday was from Luke 2:41, "Supposing about Jesus."

We had 55 in church Sunday. Lots of people are gone to family's for the Christmas week. We certainly wish them a good trip there and back.

Next Sunday is fifth Sunday. That means that our youth will have charge of the services. They are really awesome kids. If you have the chance, please come and hear them.

If you are looking for a church home, well, our doors are always ready to welcome you in.

Our birthday people this week are, Jessica Staggs, Elana Poniatowshi, Avi Fender and Lucille Prather. Happy birthday and hope there are many more to come.

Those in the military are still in constant need of our prayers. This time of year is really hard on them and their loved ones. But they know we love them.

Also there are those that are sick or bereaved. Keep them on your prayer list.

It was so good to see Dawn and Otis Parmer back in church Sunday. They have been faithful members for years. They also celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary! Congratulations on such a special event in their life.

Kenneth Fender and family are spending the holidays with Carolyn's family in Temple.
