Subvarsity Bears sweep opponents

Junior Varsity

Kyle Price led the Junior Varsity Bears past Edgewood last Tuesday night as he scored 21 points in the Bears 47-42 win.

After starting slow in the first half the Bears used a mix of strong defense and timely offense in the second half to send the game into overtime.

In overtime the Bears outscored Edgewood 9-4 to win the game. Price sank the only three pointer for the Bears.

Brownsboro will play in the Wills Point Tournament on De- cember 27-28. The BHS freshmen will also play in the tournament.

Brownsboro defeated Eustace last friday 73-41.

Junior High

The Brownsboro Junior High School Bears swept the visiting Van Vandals last Monday night in Brownsboro.

In 8th grade the `A' team defeated Van 44-19 while the `B' team won 23-16. Leading the `A' team in scoring was Nic Jones with 13 points. Cheston Becknal led the `B' team in scoring with 7 points.

Seventh grade action witnessed the `A' team defeating Van 26-0 and the `B' team winning 27-10. Blake Ralson led all 7th graders in scoring with 11 points.
