Sunday morning was another great day at LBC. Bro. Tom continues his series on the relationship that we have with Christ. Sunday morning his message dealt with the seven things that hinder our relationship with Jesus. Many times it seems like so many different things get in the way of a close walk with Him, and Bro. Tom brought seven very good reasons to our attention.

Sunday evening Bro. Bob Logan preached in the absence of our pastor. Bro. Tom is attending a conference at Northeast Baptist Church in Ft. Worth. Bro. Bill Watson preached to us on Wednesday evening. These gentlemen always do a great job of preaching the Word in our pastor's absence.

There are many on our prayer list this week. We were glad to hear that Brenda Daniel is home from the hospital and we hope that she is feeling well. We are praying that the doctors are able to determine what needs to be done in her situation. We were also glad to hear that Lorraine Epperson is recovering from her surgery. We hope that both of these ladies are able to return to services soon. Please remember to pray for all those on the prayer list. Each one needs our prayers.

Spring Break is almost here and we hope that yours is lots of fun. Our Youth Group will be going to Six Flags on Saturday, March 22nd. They will be spending the day in the Park and then attending a concert there that evening. Please see Bro. Justin for details.

We are looking ahead to Easter on March 23rd. We will have our Cantata during the morning service. We will also have our Fourth Sunday Singing on the evening of the 23rd, and Fifth Sunday Lunch on the 30th. Please have your special music ready to share! We will have lunch on the 30th immediately following our morning services and then we will have an afternoon service. Our Sunday lunches are hard to beat and we invite you to join us. There is always plenty of wonderful food. LBC has some of the best cooks around!
