Services for Leonard R. Scott, 63, Chandler, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chandler Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Wayne Stiles officiating under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.

Mr. Scott died May 7, 2008, in Chandler.

He was born Nov. 30, 1944, in Waco to the late Leonard James Robert and Minnie Ray Hubbard Scott. He lived in Chandler for more than 15 years and retired as an industrial machinist for Tyler Pipe after 20 years. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church, Tyler.

Survivors include son, Don Scott, Chandler; daughter, Melissa Scott, Chandler; brothers, Dale E. Scott, Mansfield, and James Robert Scott, Fredonia, NY; sisters, Patricia Ann Padget, Saint Jo, and Margaret L. O'Neil, Fort Worth; and nine grandchildren.
