Area little league teams began play last week and will continue throughout the summer.

Natalie Wright, pictured right, hit a homerun during the first inning of the Diamonds and Flash game played at the old Brownsboro High School field.

Below, Tyler Thomison completes a two-run double by sliding into second base. The Gators (3-0) defeated the A's 11-1 to gain sole possession of first place in the BMC Freshman division.
