Memorial services for Jane D. Kuykendall, 78, of Chandler, passed away August 13, 2008, in a Tyler hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kuykendall was born October 1, 1929, in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of Lake Palestine United Methodist Church and retired from Texas Instruments. She was also a member of Women's Business Club in Sunrise Shores.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Zelma Buchanan; 2 sons, Kenneth and Paul Nichols; and a husband, Ralph Nichols.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Kuykendall of Chandler; daughter, Kathy Crouch of Chandler; sister, Betty Cowen of Jacksonville, Florida; and 1 grandchild.
