McGill-Dobrinski exchange vows August 9

Mrs. Jonathan Thomas Dobrinski Mrs. Jonathan Thomas Dobrinski Megan Elizabeth McGill, Chandler, and Jonathan Thomas Dobrinski, Thomas, Oklahoma, were united in marriage Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.

The bride's parents are Kyle and Jill McGill, Chandler. She graduated Brownsboro High School, Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, and will graduate in December from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is an assistant softball coach at Southwestern Oklahoma State University while working on her master's degree.

The groom's parents are James and Jannet Dobrinski. He graduated Thomas High School in Thomas, Oklahoma and graduated Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He is employed by 3D Farm and Machines.

The double-ring wedding ceremony was performed at First United Methodist Church in Chandler, with Dr. Stan Copeland, uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Kim Pollard was pianist. Patti Long, organist, and soloists were Megan Frederick and Kim and Bill Pollard.

Maid of honor was Morgan McGill, Chandler, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Abby Wright, Tyler; Lacie Keplinger, Lawton, OK and Mary Ann Dobrinski, Gulfport, Miss., sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Madeline Meyer, Tyler, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Joseph Dobrinski, Thomas, OK, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Jimmie Litsch, Thomas, OK, Austin Ellis, Burns Flat, OK, and Dave Yelle, Enid, OK.

Candlelighters were Claire Holcomb, Jacksonville, TX, Maleri McHam, Chandler, and Hope Williams, Mansfield, TX.

Serving as ushers were Zachary Copeland, Irving, and Kirk Stafford, Cornelia, Georgia, both cousins of the bride.

Emily Copeland, cousin of the bride, of Irving, registered guests. Out of state guests were from Oklahoma, Georgia, California, New York and Mississippi.

A reception for the couple was held at Willowbrook Country Club, Tyler, following the wedding.

The couple will make their home in Thomas, Oklahoma.
