Isaih's 2nd Annual Cancer Run, sponsored by Dragoons MC, Scimitars MC Harvest Time Riders MM & Wheels of Mercy MM, is having a cancer ride on September 27, 2008 at Scooter Pete's. This year's ride is for Jake Hardin. Jake was diagnosed with leukemia on October 16, 2007.

Overall, he has spend about two months at Children's Medical Hospital Center in Dallas for his weekly chemotherapy treatments. The prodical for his diagnosis will last at least three years.

Jake has been through a lot for a nine year old little boy. However, he has been very brave and knows the Lord is healing him.

Jake was very active before he was diagnosed. He loves to play basketball, ride his four wheeler and spend a lot of time with his older brother James.

He has missed a lot of school this past year and he is looking forward to going back some time in the Fall.

There is something that Jake and his family have learned from all of this; and that is that every day is special, so make the most of each one.

Also because of their faith and the faith of others, Jake is going to be free from cancer and has a long life ahead of him.
