The Bears traveled to Mabank to take on the Panthers, Thursday night, August 21, for their second and final scrimmage before they begin regular season play this week against the Kemp Yellowjackets in Kemp. Bears Tight End Keith Johnson was successful in sacking Mabank's quarterback and the only player to score a Bear touchdown. More ... Trinity Mother Frances SportsCARE sponsored the annual Chandler 5K on August 23 at Chandler First United Methodist Church. This year, a record 212 runners and walkers participated, raising over $2,000 for God's Open Hands, a charity that provides food, clothing and medical care for Chandler and Brownsboro area citizens.
