Record number participate in Chandler 5K on Saturday

Trinity Mother Frances SportsCARE sponsored the annual Chandler 5K on August 23 at Chandler First United Methodist Church. This year, a record 212 runners and walkers participated, raising over $2,000 for God's Open Hands, a charity that provides food, clothing and medical care for Chandler and Brownsboro area citizens. First place overall male runner was UT Tyler Cross Country Coach Bob Hepler. First Place overall female runner was Sara Bates. Trinity Mother Frances SportsCARE provides comprehensive service that includes health promotion, maintenance and education to the athletic community.
