Owned by Lloyd Smith and his sons Jeremy and Greg, the shop also performs repairs in addition to selling some of the best tractors money can buy. Smith and Sons is located on Highway 31.

The coffee shop, located on Highway 31 in Chandler, is renowned for its coffee, made with some of the freshest ingredients in East Texas and mixed with triple-filtered water for perfection.

Wagon Wheel Antique Mall on Highway 31 in Murchison. Open seven days a week, the mall is the place to go to browse through a collection of countless antique items from furniture and jewelry to specialist items. The store is huge and its inventory changes on an almost daily basis.

Tim Drawbond, owner of Tim's Trucking, is always hard at work to make sure the materials his customers need get to where the materials need to be.

Since starting the business about a year ago, word of Tim's Trucking has spread mostly by word of mouth from his satisfied customers.

Business for Drawbond is good, with more and more people coming to the Tim's Trucking fold. The fuel costs, however, can be a pain, he said.

Drawbond will haul materials ranging from pea gravel, river rock, crushed limestone, iron ore, kaliche and top soil to red select and asphalt.

R.W. "Skip" Inks, owner, said New Visions has service from its location on Highway 110 in Whitehouse all the way to Athens, Longview, Kilgore, Rusk and Mineola.

New Visions has its own product line of both point-of-use and point-of-entry filtration systems designed to remove any and all toxins and chemicals from water. One of its systems, the 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System, removes up to 99 percent of impurities such as iron, lead, nitrate, magnesium, copper, sodium, bacteria, viruses and more using only water pressure. This machine's technology was originally designed for naval submarines to make sea water drinkable, so it can take out pretty small stuff.

Area kids are growing at Kabbage Patch in Brownsboro. The Christianbased daycare on Highway 31 has been in business since August of 1997, and it's done its fair share of growing as well.

Owners and sisters Kim Cottle and Trisha Holt have years of experience in quality daycare work. In fact, this experience comes from their jobs at the Little Bears day care in Chandler, directed by their mother.

The daycare is fully equipped to provide quality service for up to 73 rambunctious children at one time, and Kabbage Patch is licensed for children 18-months-old and older.
