As most of you know, Brother Bill and Ms. Charlie were absent Sunday, due to a death in the family back in North Carolina. The public is invited to the fourth annual family fun night benefit hosted by Murchison Methodist Women. It will be held on the church grounds on State Highway 31 East in Murchison, Saturday, October 11, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will benefit the Henderson County Food Pantry. More ... The First United Methodist Church of Brownsboro would like to invite everyone to a concert, which will be given by Mr. David Young. Mr. Young was hired this year as theater arts teacher for Brownsboro ISD, teaching grades 7-12. Mr. Young and his wife, Dawn, have been married since 1996 and have five children; three girls and two boys. More ... This has been a busy time here at FGBC. Thanks to a lot of hard work and many man-hours the updating of the sanctuary is nearing completion. It is really looking great.
