The junior high Bears took it to Emory, to play against the Rains Wildcats, Thursday, September 25.

All four teams including 7A, 7B, 8A and 8B

walked away with victories.

Bears 7A team won 28-0 over Rains

Scoring for the 7A team were Tyler Thomison, Leon Gilmore, Swaide Houston, Tanner Wilson, Ryan Covington and Quintis Lee. Defensively Tanner Essary led the Bears in tackles. The game ended 28-0.

Bears 7B team took the win against Rains

14-6

Bear Colton Harris had two scores. Taylor Davis threw a touchdown pass and the defense was led by Shane Renberg. The game ended in favor of the Bears 14-6.

Bears 8A team capped off the night with a

14-6 win

The 8A team defense was solid as they shut out the Rains offense. The Wildcats did score on a kickoff return. Bear Cesar Gutierrez caught a touchdown pass from Shelby Rogers and threw a touchdown pass to Taylor Beall. Johntae Harmon led the ground game for the Bears.

Bears 8B team beat Rains 14-0

The 8B team took home the win against the Wildcats. Tim Waters had two scores and David Dotson ran in the conversion. Devonte Givens

and Dakota Hobbs led the team in tackles.
