      To the Taxpayers of BISD: The election being held on October 11, 2008 is to raise your school taxes. The ad in the paper on September 11, 2008 stated that you would be voting in a Tax Rollback Election; however, your taxes will be a rollback to a year when they were higher. If you vote yes, it will raise your taxes, not cut them.
