Services for Earnestine Howard, 66, Chandler, were held Saturday at Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance with Pastor Malachi Micheaux officiating.

Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.

Mrs. Howard died September 22, 2008 in Tyler.

She was born April 19, 1942, in Marianna, Ark., and lived in Chandler for more than 20 years. She was a private sitter and a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance, Chandler, and on the Usher Board.

Survivors include son, Jacob Pettigrew, Tyler; daughter, Claretha McCowan, Tyler; brothers, Alfonzo Smith, Indiana, and Alonzo Smith, Illinois; sisters, Lily Battles, Rose S. Henson and Tarlee C. Smith, all of Illinois, Alberta Halley, Indiana, and Clara Smith, Missouri; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
