As part of the September Take Charge of Education donation, Target is awarding Brownsboro Elementary with a check for $91.00. This payout is a direct result of the parents, teachers and school supporters who participate in the program, which has earned this school $2,159.09 since 1997.

Through Take Charge of Education, families, teachers and members of the community have an easy way to raise money for their school. When they sign up and des- ignate an eligible K-12 school, Target donates up to 1% of every purchase they make with their REDcard (Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card or Target Check Card) to that school.

Take Charge of Education dollars are donated to schools twice a year. Over the past 11 years, schools have used the funds for whatever they needed, whether it was books, field trips, new technology or supplies.
