Our pastor has begun a series of sermons from the Book of Revelation. The series will continue during the next several weeks. He prefaced this series with messages on why this generation may be the "revelation generation." We welcome everyone to come hear these important messages.

Faith Baptist has changed the format of the Sunday evening services. Individuals will be meeting in home cell groups instead of corporate worship at the church. The groups had their first meeting Sunday evening, and good reports were received from all groups. Emphasis will be placed on Serving, Accountability, Fellowship and Edification. Anyone interested in attending can contact the church office at 849-6252 for additional information.

Our mission emphasis for September/October is the Mary Hill Davis offering for Texas missions. We are well on the way to reaching a goal of $2,500 for this special offering.

The Top of the Hill Gang enjoyed lunch at 7-B's Restaurant in Frankston on Friday, September 12. Those attending included Paul and Betty Peavy, Joe and Mary Waddill, and Jack and Maxine Barnes.

The gang will have lunch at Clear Springs Seafood Restaurant in Tyler on October 10.

The senior adult dinner and game night was held Friday night, October 3, at 6:00 p.m. This group always enjoys getting together for competition, food and fellowship. Anyone is welcome to join them the first Friday night each month.

Approximately 225 individuals attended the Chandler High School reunion Saturday, September 20, at the Chandler Intermediate School. Several people from Faith Baptist attended. It was good to see old school friends that we had not seen in many years and reminiscing about "old times." Jerry and Joyce Houston were on the planning committee. Our thanks to all on the committee for making the day most enjoyable.

Robert and Melva Allison celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, September 27, at their home. Their children, Lisa Palmer, Angie Saxon and Bobby Allison along with their spouses, hosted a dinner for family and friends in their honor.

The Women's Ministries will have a "Cake and Pie Booth" at the Pow Wow Saturday. Everyone is encouraged to come by and purchase their favorite dessert. "Faith Favorites" cookbooks will also be on sale.

We are always happy to have guests in our services. Sunday School/Bible study starts at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, followed by the worship service at 10:30.

There is a place for everyone at Faith Baptist. Sunday evening worship begins at 6:00 and the Wednesday services include a new children's program entitled "Elevate" at 6:15 p.m., youth group at 6:15, and adult Bible study/ prayer meeting at 6:30 p.m. A meal is served from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Come join us!
