The annual Edgewood Heritage Festival is an allday affair on Saturday, November 8, at the Heritage Park outdoor museum. There will be a vintage car show, CASI chili cook-off, a children's area, a quilt show, a sidewalk art sale, armadillo races and more. Admission is free.

The Murchison Methodist Women will host the fourth annual family fun night outside the church grounds of the First United Methodist Church on highway 31 in Murchison. Event is Saturday, October 11. There will be multiple events including cakewalk, children's treasure hunt and clowns with balloon animals.
New Hope United Methodist Fall Fest is October 18 from 10 to 3 pm. There will be games, prizes, hay rides, cake and pie auctions, old fashioned games, clowns, hot dogs, chips, nachos and drinks. Donations welcome - donations on $100 Visa gift card and $50 Visa gift card. Drawing will be before 3 pm. There will also be games for little kids.

Calvary Baptist Church will hold its Revival! Monday-Friday starting at 7 pm. Pastor Brother Jon Parker and Revival Preacher Brother Brad Webb will be there, and the church will have a Felllowship meal at 6 pm on Friday.

Edom Bakery and Grill is looking for a Guest Chef every Wednesday night through September. The Bakery will provide 5 X 7 cards on which to submit a favorite recipe. Drop it into the fishbowl at the bakery and, if selected, the recipe donor will be the guest chef with the recipe becoming the Wednesday night special.
Storytime at the Chandler Library for preschool - 3rd grade will be every Thursday. There will also be a special Saturday morning program for 4th - 7th grade readers. Starting time for this group is at 9:30 am.
Calvary Baptist in Brownsboro will hold a prayer breakfast on the second Saturday of each month with Pastor John Parker. Good food and fellowship, come 8 am.
Bread of Life Distribution Food Bank on the third Saturday of each month. 8 am - 12 pm. Any volunteers would be accepted and appreciated. Calvary Baptist hosts this food bank for public awareness.
