Intoxication leads to crash

When this van turned over following the crash it revealed a bottle of vodka. The cause was attributed to intoxication. It happened on FM 315 south of Chandler on October 1. The call came in about 8:35 am and Westside Volunteer Fire Department answered the call to find a blue van flipped on its back in a one-vehicle accident.
A telephone switchbox was knocked over when the vehicle crashed just before the second bridge on the way out of Chandler.
The police report stated the driver, Scott Washburn, 34, of Tyler, crashed due to intoxication. When the truck was turned over, a nearly empty bottle of White Wolf Vodka was found at the scene.
No serious injuries were reported.
