The month of October is shaping up to be one of the greatest months to be an angler in Texas. Berkley Fishing is sponsoring a fishing tournament, which will take place in Lake Fork, Texas. Berkley is also sending the Berkley Experience Trailer and Bass Tanks to Lake Fork that includes interactive games and demonstrations for the entire family.

The Lake Fork bass tournament has quickly become a favorite of all anglers. Lake Fork Marina will host the 3rd annual Berkley Big Bass, which is set for October 11th and 12th. This two-day tournament has awarded over $160,000 during the past two years in cash and prizes. This year the Lake Fork Event is set to be bigger than ever with the top prize being a new Skeeter ZX 200-Yamaha 200 HPDI (MSRP $45,000) and second place will also win a new Skeeter SX190- Yamaha 150.

"This tournament has become a classic for anglers all over Texas," said Andrew Marks, Berkley Marketing Manager. "The prize packages keep getting bigger, offering plenty of incentive for anglers to give it their best shot. The unique Berkley baits only tournament has grown since the first event on Lake Fork in 2006 that drew over 500 anglers.
