Southern Gospel Concert is coming to Athens with HisSong from Tennessee also His Call QT. and Tracy Thompson from Texas, on Nov. 15 at the Texas Gospel Music Hall located 6513 Hwy. 19 S. Athens. Forest Grove Baptist Church will have their annual Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6- 9p.m. There will be lots of fun with games, prizes, candy and great food to buy. We're located 8miles South of Chandler at 21762 Forest Grove Drive at Hwy 315 S. For more info call 903-849-2378.

Brownsboro Band Booster Meeting will have a meeting at 6p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 in the Band Hall.

AARP 5345 Antioch Baptist Church will meet Tuesday, November 4. The Board of Directors will meet at 6p.m. and the regular meeting is held at 6:30p.m. All people 50+ are encouraged to attend.

Flatwood Assembly of God of Edom will be hosting an Outdoor Fall Festival on Oct. 31, beginning at 6pm. There will be Blue Grass Gospel Band, games, food, and candy for the kids. Everyone is welcome. Flatwood is located 2m west of Edom on FM279. For more info call 903- 852-6997.

Brownsboro businesses will pass out candy on the night after Halloween. Saturday, November 1.

Brownsboro Young Farmers monthly meeting meets the second Tuesday of every month in the Ag./Vocation bldg. at the high school 6:30pm

Halloween at the Hatchery, an annual event at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, set for Oct. 30, from 6pm-8:30pm, in Athens. $1 admission fee will go to the Rainbow Room of Henderson County.

The annual Edgewood Heritage Festival is an all-day affair on Saturday, November 8, at the Heritage Park outdoor museum. There will be a vintage car show, CASI chili cook-off, a children's area, a quilt show, a sidewalk art sale, armadillo races and more. Admission is free.

Golden Girls Booster Club meets Thursday at 6:30 pm in the High School Little Theatre.
