Bearettes now second in district

Now, the team will advance to the bi-district playoff game next week on Monday, November 3, after playing Palestine Westwoods Lady Panthers, on Tuesday, October 28.
The Bearettes record is now 7-2 in district 15 and 17-11 overall.
The Bearettes won in four games against Palestine with the scores 25- 7, 25-18, 14-25 and 25-18.
Standout players of the game were Hillary Shaffer with 15 kills and 5 blocks, Naomi Scott with 5 kills and 5 blocks, Amye Scarborough had 4 kills, Chelsea Chambers with 10 assists and Kaycee Wood with 5 assists.
The week before, October 3, the Bearettes played Crockett and won in four games also. The scores were 25-16, 25-20, 20-25 and 25-10.
Hillary Shaffer had 11 kills and 4 blocks with 2 aces, Naomi Scott had 5 kills and 2 blocks, Amye Scarborough with 3 kills, Chelsea Chambers with 8 assists and Abigail Hernandez had 9 assists.
This week the Bearettes will play Palestine Westwood, before they head to bi-district playoffs, in the Brownsboro gym at 5p.m., Tuesday, October 28.
