The junior high Bears 8th grade football team traveled to Palestine, Thursday, October 23, to take on the Palestine Wildcats, while the 7th grade played Bullard Brook Hill.

Bears 7B team win perfect

with 8-0.

Michael D'zeima scored the touchdown and ran in the conversion. Brendan Woods and James Lee Harrington led the defense in tackles.

Bears 7A team lost to

Bullard Brook Hill 8-18.

Scoring for the Bears were Swaide Houston on a pass from Tyler Thomison and Quintas Lee ran in the conversion. Defensive leaders were Deandre Cook and Mitchell Penny.

The Bears 8B team suffered

their first setback 14-26

The 8B team had a tough loss to Palestine Thursday night. This was their first setback of the season. Scoring for the Bears were Kevin Elder, Jacob Ludford and Seth Middleton. Ty Benson, Zack Williams and Brody Chambers led the team in defense.

Bears 8A team fell to the

Wildcats 12-14

Shelby Rogers threw two TD passes to Cesar Gutierrez and Patrick McCarthy. Logan Caldwell led the ground attack for the Bears. Defensively Black Ralson recorded and interception and Chris Coleman forced a fumble.
