Shelly Bearden of Chandler, Texas and Kit Rackow of Edom, Texas, were united in marriage October 25, 2008 at the Edom City Limits Club in Edom, with Bob Fisher officiating the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jacky and Dawn Edgar, Canton, and Danny and Sterling Grissom of Chandler. She graduated Grand Saline High School and Tyler Junior College and is employed by Chandler Nursing Center as a treatment nurse.

The groom is the son of Gary Rackow of Edom, and Charlotte Sage, Bullard. He is a Van High School graduate and is employed by Bronco Drilling Company as an oilfield worker.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jacky Edgar, and Ryan Berkebile, her son.

Her gown was ivory satin with beading around the bodice, with a rhinestone tiara. Her bouquet was of pale pink roses and different shades of green, brown and tan ribbons.

The building was decorated with mossy oak camo and pale pink.

Music was CDs of country music.
