Memorial services for Tony Ray Vallery, 57, Chandler, will be held at a later date. Arrangements under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

Mr. Vallery died October 31, 2008, in Tyler.

He ws born September 24, 1951, in Bossier City, La., to the late Frank and Rubye Boyt Vallery. He lived in Bossier City most of his life, moving to Texas in the late 1990s, and lived in Canton and Chandler.

He served in the Army, and worked in construction and for Asplundh Tree Service.

He was a member of American Legion Post 421 in Bossier City, La., and was a member of the 40/8 Voiture Locale 137 in Shreveport, La.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Vallery, Ellis, Kan.; fiancee, Kathy Henderson, Chandler; brothers, Don Vallery, Bossier City, La., Frank Vallery, Canton, Dickey Vallery, Newnan, Ga., and Dennie Vallery, Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
