Memorial services for Archie Glenn Freeman, 64, Ben Wheeler, were held Saturday at Hilliard Funeral Home, Van, with Rev. Kenneth Meadows officiating.

Mr. Freeman died October 29, 2008, in Tyler.

He was born Sept. 23, 1944, in Tahoka to Ethel Freeman and the late Truman Freeman. He served in the Marine Corps and was a revenue officer for the Treasury Department. He lived in Fort Worth prior to moving to Ben Wheeler 25 years ago. He was a member of St. Justin's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Johni Freeman, Ben Wheeler; daughter, Angela Michele Freeman Stuckey, Ben Wheeler; son, Keith Simon Freeman, Van Buren, Ark.; mother, Ethel Freeman, Brownwood; brother, Don Freeman, Niceville, Fla.; sisters, Rita Lee, Tulia, and Nelda Patterson, Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
