Women's Unity Fellowship has announced participants in this year's Christmas Tour of Homes. The annual event will be held from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8. Also included in the activities will be the Tour of Trees at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler on December 7 and 8.

Hostesses for the Tour of Homes will be Sharon Moffeit, 713 Cade; Thelma Jones, 309 Broad St.; Tracie Montgomery, FM 2010; Christy Cade, 17298 FM 3400; and Ginny Baldwin, 16550 CR 3302 Red Bud Road.

Tickets and maps are available at the Chandler Drug Store, the Chandler Public Library and at the Tour of Trees. Transportation from the FUMC will be provided for anyone who would like to the tour caravan. Call 903-849-3566 or 849-4068 to reserve a seat.

The Tour of Trees features trees decorated by local organizations and displayed in the Fellowship Hall of The First United Methodist Church. This annual event benefits God's Open Hands. Attendees are asked to bring canned goods to vote for their favorite tree. The tree with the most cans will receive $50. All canned goods will be donated to God's Open Hands.

The Tour of Trees will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, and from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8. Chili will be sold on Monday night. Groups interested in decorating a tree can get more information from Rosie Bussman at 903-849-3566.

Proceeds from the Tour of Homes benefits the Brenda Epperson Memorial Scholarship for Future Teachers, God's Open Hands and the summer reading program at the Chandler Public Library.
