Memorial services for Marvin T. Rozell, Sr., 74, Chandler, were held Friday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Bowman officiating.

Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park.

Mr. Rozell died October 9, 2008, in Tyler. He was born July 27, 1935, in Chandler to the late Thurman T. and Cleo Sikes Rozell.

He was a lifelong resident of Chandler, a heavy equipment operator for the city of Tyler, and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Brown Rozell, Chandler; son, Marvin Rozell Jr., Chandler; daughter, Teresa Rozell Sparks, Chandler; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
