Tuesday, October 28, the Brownsboro Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization held a pumpkin decorating and carving contest at BIS. Up to 60 students participated by bringing a pumpkin to be judged. The pumpkins were divided into two categories: decorated or carbed, with first, second and thurd place winners in each category receiving gift cards. The public was also given a chance to vote for their favorite pumpkin at the Fall Festival that evening. The winner of the public vote was Colby Elkins with his "Pig in a Pen" pumpkin.
