The Varsity Bearettes hosted Winona's Lady Wildcats Friday, November 14, but quickly sent them on their way back home with a final score of 47-18, Brownsboro.

The Bearette's Sabrina Bradley opened up the first quarter along with Lacandace Bell and Hillary Shaffer adding with two pairs of free throws.

Lacandace Bell not only led Brownsboro in points for the first quarter, but she also led in the entire game Friday night, scoring a total of 12 points.

After Montoya Hightower and Dez Johnson scored, Brownsboro ended the first quarter ahead by 24 and Winona was still unable to put any points on the board.

The Lady Wildcats finally got in the game with approximately two minutes into the second quarter.

The Bearettes were up 33-8 by the end of the second, then Laquesha Cooper and Bell helped shove the lead into the 40s by the middle of the third.

The game ended in favor of the Bearettes 47-18.

The Bearettes next game will be against Kerens in Brownsboro, Saturday, November 22, at 12p.m.
