Graveside funeral services for George William "Willie," "Wilbur" Yura of Ben Wheeler, Texas, were held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 with burial at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Yura died November 29, 2008 in Tyler, Texas. He was born Sept. 25, 1956 in Tyler.

He had lived in the Ben Wheeler area for 30 years. He was a member of the Salvation Army, and was a concrete worker for Montrose Concrete, Inc.

Preceding him in death were his father, John Yura Sr., daughter, Danielle Celeste Yura, and niece, Kimberly Yura.

Survivors are his mother, Dorothy Yura of Ben Wheeler; grandson, Jackson Daniel Yura of Brownsboro; brothers, John Yura and wife Penny of Brownsboro, and James Yura and friend, Christina of Missouri; sister, Linda Yura of Tyler; nieces, Leslie Schmidkofer, Denise Vaden, Jo Anna Stewart, Rosie Yura; 7 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Charles McLean, Brian Fields, Frankie McLean, Donnie Wells, Terry Davis and Micheal Williams.
