Bearettes in Great East Texas Shootout

      This weekend Brownsboro sports fans dreamed of basketball. Brownsboro High School welcomed over 50 basketball teams to compete in the one and only Great East Texas Shootout; 28 boy teams, 23 girl teams and 100 games to be played in a matter of three days.

      Every year something great happens, not only does basketball season start but so does the Great East Texas Shootout. Last year Brownsboro celebrated the tournament title, won in a close game against Van 43-42. This year, the Pleasant Grove Hawks claimed the title.

BMC Baseball and Softball Registration
      BMC registration is just around the corner. Registration forms will be going out in January for baseball and the new girls' softball league to be played at Winchester Park in Chandler. The boys' baseball and girls' softball will be able to register under the same organization for the 2009 season.
