Crafters begin "Mission Possible Quilts"

Crafters begin the New Year with the "Mission Possible Quilt." The instructions for the quilt will be every month from January through June and crafters will be able to complete a quilt start-to-finish. Hopefully, they will enter them in the Quilt Show in October.

The purpose of this instruc- tion schedule is to show crafters that it is not "impossible " but "possible" to complete a quilt in six months or less; thus, "Mission Possible Quilt" is the theme for the first half of the year in the Sewing and Quilting venue.

The Second Thursday, January 10th begins the new 2008 schedule: Quilt instruction with Nancy, 903-833-5329, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon; Lunch until 1:00 p.m., then Knitting and Crocheting with Joyce and Bobbie, 903-469- 3375, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please bring a sack lunch and drink.

The Fourth Thursday, January 24th, is scheduled for Scrapbooking with Ginger, 903-852-7775, in the morning and General Crafting in the afternoon with Terri. Terri has plans for a whole year of great crafting projects. Call her at 916-230-0267 for details. Please bring a sack lunch and drink.
