TRIALS AND TEMPTATIONS
Sometimes we Christians think we have it made
When our Lord takes us into His fold;
But that's when our purging starts
Of mind, body and soul.
He didn't say it would be easy
But we are separated from the rest;
That's why when trials and temptations come,
We must strive to be our best.
He knows it's hard for us because we are only human,
But that's why He gave us His grace;
So let's be glad that He chose us
Until we see Him in that heavenly place.

HE SET ME FREE
I was sinking deep in sin never to rise again,
Oh! How I'd tried, but it all seemed in vain.
Jesus reached down His hand and lifted me.
Yes, Jesus reached down His hand and set me free.
I had tried everything but nothing satisfied.
Falling on my knees to the Lord, God I cried.
Jesus reached down His hand and lifted me.
Yes, Jesus reached down His hand and set me free.
I had been so very blue I didn't know what to do
Then Jesus came into my life and I've been born anew.
Jesus reached down His hand and lifted me;
Yes, Jesus reached down His hand and set me free.
Now when I kneel down to pray, my guilt is washed away.
No sorrow, no pain, no more reason to complain.
Jesus reached down His hand and lifted me.
Yes, Jesus reached down His hand and set me free.
Song by Jack Keck and Thomas Howard

HOLY SPIRIT
Holy Spirit, teach me from above,
Holy Spirit, fill me with your love,
Holy Spirit, move upon my life,
Holy Spirit, stir me inside.
I yield to you, Spirit of the Lord,
Do your will in me.
I yield to you, Spirit of the Lord
Do your will through me.
Holy Spirit, teach me all your ways.
Holy Spirit, lead me all my days,
Holy Spirit, guide me into truth,
Holy Spirit, help me know you.

Cason Patrick Gimble
CASON
(Oct. 21, 1986 - Sept. 9, 2006)
Precious Son, Loyal Brother
These will forever be your names.
The room would light up
when you would enter.
Loving, happy, to our family the "CENTER."
Dearest Grandson
This will forever be your name.
Always finding time for a kiss and a hug,
Memories of these truly give our hearts a tug.
Memories we now hold close and dear,
Oh, how we long for one more
Chance to have you near.
Special Nephew, Fun-loving Cousin
These will forever be your names.
Family gatherings and "cousin games,"
"Please sit by me," the one all
wanted to be around.
What wonderful memories
for us can be found.
Kind Friend
This will forever be your name.
What a magnet ... fun, tenderhearted and always forgiving.
Genuinely happy, for you life was for living.
Still we wonder how many more you could have touched
Had your days not been so brief.
But the number may be greater than we'll ever know,
Because you went before us and left such a bright light here
below.
Child of God
Your sweetest name of all!
It's the one that brings us strength and joy,
For we know God needed the sweet spirit of an extra special
boy.
Every day glimpses of your beautiful face pass through our
thoughts
You are grinning ear to ear,
Oh, how these memories are especially dear.
Your warm hugs can still be felt
Your happy presence is all around
So many signs of you looking over us are easily found.
Though we miss the sound of your sweet laughter
God assures us we will hear it again in the hereafter.
We look forward to the day we are engulfed in the wonderful
warmth we call Cason, welcoming us to our Heavenly Home
and telling us it is "AWESOME!"
Your Loving Family
