Dr. Carl Lee Garrett

Dr. Carl Lee Garrett, 86, Chandler, died January 16, 2008 at a Tyler hospice. No services are planned at this time; arrangements are with Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Dr. Garrett was born October 31, 1921 in Corsicana and served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He received his doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin and was a retired dentist and a Baptist. He lived in Chandler for 15 years, and was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Garrett.

Survivors include son, Thomas Michael Garrett, Houston; daughter, Shannon Michelle Garrett, Houston; and one grandchild.
